The following report details the potential of payment reform to transform our health care system into one that facilitates health equity and promotes racial justice by comprehensively providing disenfranchised individuals with tailored services and resources necessary for health. The report also outlines key policy solutions necessary for creating value-based payment systems that center and ultimately advance health equity. This is the fourth of a series on the organization’s People First Care initiative – which lays out a vision for making the American health care system more affordable, less complicated and focused on patients.
